Does word-of-mouth marketing work?Yes, it is the best advertisement. If a customer is treated well it will encourage other people to visit also.Word of mouth is the biggest seller or deterrent for businesses.If done correctly it can be extremely effective. Who are you more likely to believe, some pompous *** on the radio, or your best friend recommending a product or service because they were truly impressed with it?I think word of mouth works almost best. If your customers enjoyed their experience, they'll tell people who will try the place out, who will tell other people and so forth. Don't stop any other type of advertising, though.Word of mouth marketing does work. However, people usually don't volunteer or discuss the good service they had, unless asked. Word of mouth has the most results with negative service. People are more likely to tell someone about a bad service they had versus good. It also depends on what you are marketing.Word of mouth works, but the more important question should be "why would a customer NOT come back?
